I have checked everything I can think of with 'Future' in the title, as the vocoded vocal to me sounds like it is saying future, future, future (42:30)

Nothing I have found with future in the title around 99/2000 has been it but then I have not been able to get a sample of everything discogs returns for that search.

I am convinced though it is 'Future' because other tracks he plays have a millenium type hook:

Blondie vs PVD - 21st Century/For An Angel
Cevin Fisher - Freaks come out ('2000')
Binary Finary - 1999
DJ Tom Stevens vs Fridge - Outface 2000


The bassline reminds me of some stuff on crosstrax but I have checked every release around 99/2000 and it is none of them.

I also tried Fog Area Trance around that time period but got nothing either.

Dj Scot - F (Future is now) was out around this time but any remix I can find is nowhere like it not even in melody.

I have emailed & tweeted mr pearce himself and just got a retweet.

Pretty sure I have a good idea of what this tune is but have no means of actually checking - don't have the vinyl and a vinyl player.

I remember that I actually made a note of this "Future" track on my old laptop so may need to dig that out over the Christmas period.

Ok so I have been going through Discogs and listing anything with future in the title.

The robotic/vocoded voice says "future.. future.. future" and he played several tracks in this New Years Eve 99 set with some reference to the future so it has to be something along those lines.

I think you're absolutely boiling regarding this tune ID, lemme see what I can find.

You will also hear Dave Pearce say it is "Polarize" by Switch. I reckon it was a demo back then as I don't hear that "The Future" vocal bit and they updated the name to "Switch - Future" on release:

Therefore I reckon the ID you seek is "Switch - Future" but it will need to be confirmed.
