Can you recommend a piano (and possibly orchestral strings) goody?

Looking for a nice warm piano sound like the one heard in this track

If possible and in budget, with real sounding orchestral strings too.

Had a bit of a spending splurge lately so I cant go too mad on this one as my Missus will get humpy

Maybe £100.

I've had a week long farce trying to get Steinberg's Halion Symphonic to work, and cant be bothered any longer, hence needing a recommendation. I know it's not just me, a very teccy mate of mine also avoids Steinberg products for the same reasons.

PREFERABLY FROM A STRAIGHT FORWARD COMPANY THAT DOES NOT MAKE A GREAT MEAL OUT OF SECURITY / THE D/L PROCESS

Nothing that uses third party players such as Kontact. Again I find NI (another German firm) just too much hassle for me personally, I have an aversion to firms that want to make life overly complicated.

EDIT - I know some people will say they have no issues with Steinberg, but hey we're all different, I took a decision a while back not to interface with hassle companies, life is too short. Some people love teccy issues to solve, I don't.

Something that 'just sorts itself out' with a few screen prompts such that it just works and appears in my VSTi folder inside Cubase. The Halion product required me to work out what it should open with, but whatever I tried wanted me to purchase it or said the file (Halion) was not recognised. I just don't need this shit in my life.

Also nothing from Output - I find their products full of cheese sounds.

Any piano will do that as long as it's multi sampled and responds to velocity. Just play in with low velocity. It's also layered with strings.

The cheapest real sounding strings I know of are Cinematic Strings 2, at $299.

There's loads of string stuff in Komplete now, but I still use Komplete 6 so I don't have it. I can't comment on how good it sounds.

Doesn't really sound like a warm piano to me. Warm piano is something more like rhodes or electric piano. But also depends on the notes used or use of the damper felt pedal . The lower registers will of course sound warmer. Since you've ruled out Kontakt sample libs you have limited your choice quite a bit. I don't find piano patches with layered strings sounding too realistic. You really have to do the strings separate.

From my research lately nothing can hold a candle to Spectrasonics Keyscape. $400 though.
