Ok, I´m sure this question was already a gazillion times asked, but still: I want to buy me some decent earphones since my old ones are really >>old<< now.
I´ve looked through several pages & also read many articles.
But now I want to hear your opinions on what earphones are the BEST for DJing in a LOUD club (the phones really should be loud) and also for listening at home at high quality.
Please also post the price you paid for your earphones if you know!
Grrr... I can't tell you that right now, since all of my good-sounding headphones are so quiet that they clip when they're driven loudly. And all of my loud headphones don't sound good at all -- at least not for listening.
Though I personally don't own them, here is one that I can recommend for both DJing and for music listening: the Sennheiser HD 25 (HD 25-1 if you're in Europe). But I didn't buy them because they're simply too expensive for what I get: Why should I have to pay a friggin' $200USD for something that I could have gotten for $100 to $120 (sound-quality-wise)?
Its hard to say but everybody have there preferences and for me its the mdr-v700dj.

I've just got me a Technics 1210 RP DJ Headphones.. they're wicked! It's like I can hear things I couldn't normally hear before.
