Hah, I noticed this story they did on a news broadcast here about the extreme violence in games. They brought up Vice City and they were showing an abundance of clips from it during the whole "game violence=bad" commentary. I wonder if they understand that showing people stuff and telling them that it's not good for them (especially with video games) will probably just sell more video games. I bet you they sold another 1000 copies of the game through that news broadcast alone.

And then they debated the whole thing where they try to convince everyone that video games cause people to get violent. But my thinking is that if a kid gets violent, the kid is probably violent to begin with anyway. In which case I ask: Why don't parents take more control over their kids and stop blaming it on video games and movies?

My two cents...bleh.

i agree by saying people shouldnt buy thi then their first reaction is "i want that"! if people dont make a fuss about things like this then the company prolly wouldnt sell as mny copies! well i dont care i got the game and its awsome! even with all the violence

do u remember hooligans? its must of been the shittiest game ever but because the news etc said it was going to be banned the game sold thousands of copies.

No, you're right.
Parents should be more responsible for their kids.
Yea they may both have jobs and time might be short but that's no excuse to let your kids do what they want to do as recompense.

The PC / TV makes a lousy babysitter and fills some kids with strange ideas. Some are just too young and impressionable and have no idea the real world consequences of their actions.
Kids like that, I blame the parents bang on.
