hey, basically i wanna get a cd deck for my setup and since there are alot of cheaper ones around i was thinking whats the deal with them... like i know with turntables the cheaper often belt driven ones... suffer from poor sustained torque etc but since the whole point of cd decks would be all digital they wouldnt really have torque problems would they ? do some makes have better sustained pitch control than others? whats a good priced model to check out? the 100s? are they acceptable...? i defeinitly dont want a cdj 1000 or anything
thanks!

Most people really like the Pioneer CDJ100S. I have also heard that the American Dj Pro 2 or Pro 3 are good as well.

You better get the CDJ-100 because it is a lot better value than other CD players they have for sale here in Oz. I think Kosmic is the cheapest even though they offer the list price first, you can always bargain..!

I've used shitty argos efforts lol and they are crap, I've also use some Numark 2 in 1 efforts which were pretty cool and are only about 250 quid for the lot I think generally its just more stuff on them as the price goes up and they tend to skip less. Also the really top of the range Pioneer CDJs (800 and 1000) allow a cueing system which is almost exactly like vinyl where you scratch cue and have slowdowns and stuff. The Pioneer CDJ 100 are good as they are single units and have cool effects and stuff
