It's prevalent in hip hop music but I'm sure it occurs in dance music as well.
I friggin love JFK's voice in Cosmic Gate - Exploration of Space from his 'Special Message to the Congress on Urgent National Needs' on May 25th, 1961. It was just the icing on the cake.

I'm not certain like I am about hip hop music. There should be people who knows more about sampling in dance music than I do.

Actually, sampling is not allowed in dance music, so there isn't any, unlike Hip-Hop.

Thought 'Tears In The Rain' was a great sample ...the first couple times I heard it used. Then I discovered it's one of the most over-abused samples around.
/clips from David Lynch's 'Dune' a close second

This free sample from NASA (that you can still download, I think) is used well in this track. Simple, yet effective:

Though Tiesto's Lethal Industry samples him playing Tetris.

I know it's not trance, but the famous Crystal Method dance track (Keep Hope Alive) samples American civil rights activitist, Jesse Jackson.

Recognize the one at 1:50 minutes which my friend used in this track?
Always thought it sounds pretty cool:
And this one came to mind, I bought it long ago. Check who's behind it
