…Of all the prominent DJs out there, he is one that has yet to do an Essential Mix. Anyone know why?
Any other DJs that who have been around for a long time that have yet to do one?

Anthony Pappa is still around. He seems to be turning up on my Facebook feed quite regularly during lockdown. He mainly plays in Australia these days, which is perhaps why his international profile has dipped.
I'm surprised Michael Mayer has never done an Essential Mix, especially in the mid-2000s when Kompakt was one of the hottest labels in the world. He recently did a series of "Wind Down" mixes for BBC Radio 1 so it's not like they've blanked him completely.
If you enjoy any of these sets and want to hear me live, I'll be playing a 2 hour progressive trance set at Basing House in Shoreditch, London on 11th October.

Anthony actually posted about this on his FB yesterday. Looks like he'd like to do one.

I would have loved a Essential Mix from Anthony Pappa around 2000/2001.
Plenty of live DJ sets. Here in The Netherlands he played at Extrema festival, Nighttown in Rotterdam, Kremlin and Renaissance World Tour @ Escape in Amsterdam in the early 2000s, and at Bedrock, Selador and Get Frisky nights at Amsterdam Dance Event in recent years. To name just a few places. Also the usual central/eastern European places like Kristal in Bucharest, XIII in Moscow; Space in Miami, etc.
He's (re)scheduled to play a back-to-back set with Dave Seaman at the Panama club in Amsterdam in 2021, but that might be slightly optimistic still.
