Get your TXTA [Member Numbers] here Texans!
For the last 3 weeks or so, we TXTAs have been assigning TXTA member numbers to all the active Texas TranceAddicts via a thread in the 'Party Info Forum', because that seems to have been our temporary hangout prior to scoring our own forum. The main reason at the time of the member # count was so that we could show that we had enough active members to entitle us to a forum of our own, but evidently these member #'s are already having other uses, so I urge you to get yourself a TXTA # asap. (for example, when I created the voting thread for who will be Moderator, I used this member list, perhaps unfairly, but it was the obvious choice)
I realise that some Texas-based TAs were not aware of these goings on and thus don't have TXTA #'s, and in addition to that, we don't have a mod to move the original "TXTA Head Count" thread to this forum to continue the assigning of numbers, so that's exactly the role this thread will take.
Please READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY as there has been confusion in the past about how the number assigning works:
- Take the next number, first come first serve
- Post in this thread immediately that you request the next number and state the number you request
- Since it is important that everyone agrees on the numbers being assigned, I have created a simple website that contains the list, and I will be the one that updates the list regularly with new members, so...
- Wait until I post a confirmation of your assigned number
- Once the number is yours, I recommend you add "TXTA #405" or whatever number is yours to your Location in your TA profile, so it shows up under your avatar like most of the rest of us.
