Re: Some trivia about Dutch use of pseudonyms in mix names

Actually, it is very common in Dutch trance that a producer has several pseudonyms, and uses one of them to name the "original mix".
Examples (as far as I know, there is no specific "original mix" for any of these, the mix mentioned is really the original mix):
Symphony Of Strings - Don't Want Your Love (Donald & Giles mix) <- Beat Freakz are behind both pseudonyms
Nautica - My Religion (DJ Alici mix) <- Mustafa Alici behind both pseudonyms
Caesar - Orgasm (Warlock remix) <- Cor Sangers behind both pseudonyms
Here I gave only a few examples.
But I admit that the name of Carlo Resoort vs 4 Strings - Unknown is quite silly, though. At least the ladies now know who's the master producer
Back in 1998-1999 Dutch producers hid behind impenetrable pseudonyms to hide their identity, but now they seem to want to become pop stars instead Armin, Ferry and now even Carlo Resoort are releasing tracks with their own name Where is the underground mentality? |
another example
orion - rush (angelic mix)
angelic is produced by darren tate i am pretty sure
