I've been listening here and there and checking out the countdown....
pretty surprised that for as much Armin whored him out from 2004-06, not one Matthew Dekay track made the top 1000....
And i think there should have been a cutoff on tracks considering the show started in 2001. SandStorm did NOT deserve to be in there! Armin Never played it on ASOT. Unless he played a song on the show that was released prior to 2001, then it should make the cut

There were tracks like Caf้ del Mar, Saltwater and Don't Give Up on the list. Maybe it's because they are released on Armada and just that.
Funny thing, my fav is Silver Bath and ended up around 700 and something.
No MATTI LAAMANEN (COSMICMAN) tracks in the whole TOP 1000? WTF???
Also they played For An Angel just for 40 seconds...
I really disappointed.

I remember (albeit somewhat vaguely) listening to Armin's radio show when he had just started doing this, in Dutch, back in 2001 and it was genuinely enjoyable. Not internet radio, but actual old-fashioned real radio. The fun mostly ended by the start of 2002 as I'm sure Armin had figured out well by then that it was by playing uplifting trance only that he would keep and expand his audience. Early internet frenzies about, for instance, the Fire & Ice remix of that Sonic Inc track at the time showed the way.
Anyway, sad shite.
