i loved Twisted but they have done 2 remixes lately that sound exactly like Twisted.

I know they co-wrote Twisted but too do remixes with the exact same riff and sounds is pretty piss poor in my eyes especially when i am buying them.......i could just play Twisted and save myself £12.

i know other people like Airwave and co do similar remixes but the above 2 tracks are 90% the same as Twisted.

yeah its kinda sad..i noticed that too..i love twisted but come on the remix is too fuckin similar..

The exact thing has happened with their remix of "Watching the Waves" by Blank & Jones.It sounds like they took "The Beauty of Silence" and slightly changed it.It's really sad for producers ,who are able to create nice music, to "repeat" themselves like that !

I think svenson and gielen are past their prime.

please don't mardy at me, but i hate those two fucking looser's, they been using the same cheesy synths and making the same cheesy/corny tracks for years. they always make there tunes go too "high" and they are just 100% nusery rhymes!

Totally agree.. these two are just too much the same..

Maybe it's because of the Twisted elements in them, but I still like them both..

is there something wrong with taking a song you produced and using it to make a remix
i am not saying do it everytime, but why dont we look back to 1999, do you remember when signum remixed? yea same formula for every remix (although i liked them all)

What? I deleted The Wave (S & G mix) off of my HD because I thought it was Twisted mislabled.

I dunno wtf S & G were thinking when they did the Watching the Waves remix. Beauty of Silence is a better track for sure.

Also, for their Lexicon 4 remix, which had some nice parts (btw, I am talking about the REAL remix as played by Gielen @ TE2002), the rest of the track suffered from lazy fucking production. The remix had the kind of arrangement I make in like 5 minutes.

And something I want to know is:

Unknown Pleazure... are they actually the minds behind this track? When Azreal did the recon. of it, I think I remembered reading that Gielen said that he didn't know who this track was by, or if it would ever be released. Then, S&G release Unknown Pleasure, which took samples from the unknown track, and they added some really shitty strings and horrid vocals. So, I want to know if Svenson & Gielen just realized this track wasn't gonna be released, and then stole it because it was so damn good.
