I have the old picture of this nebula in an OLD Galaxy book I got back in 1986...... It was a very powerfull image, done with the talent of artists.. But they could not have forseen how incredible this image would have been through Hubble.
What an incredible image this is, and every week it seems Hubble keeps giving us awe inspiring images of our universe..

hmmm i wonder if there's a planent in the image that has life on it, hah hah would be cool if there were others out there listening to TRANCE!

FYI
These aren't photoshopped but they aren't what they look like if you look through a telescope. Simply because the camera used to capture these pictures have filters that make the pink, blue, etc. more vivid. Normally, nebular clouds don't show up unless you apply filters during photography!

ya, i also think that the photos were not taken as part of the real visible spectrum.
