I personally would recommend you go with Technics.
IF you really dont want to spend 400 bucks on new ones, get second hand ones....thats what I did.
Many times you will find that people want to start djing, then they try it, it doesnt work, so they sell their equipment practically brand new.
There is a site that I purchased one from,,... it was practically brand new in the box, place is www.musicgoround.com
They are an online vendor, and regular store (across the nation) that specializes in second hand gear.
If you must get new decks, and you have 250 bucks, dont go with stanton... they are kinda flimsy. I would go with Denon, as it also has optical outputs, and quality of Denon is known to be good.
