im majoring in computer science (software engg) - first year and was just wondering if there were any other tas out here with similar majors!!!

i thought this was asked before and got like 8 pages of replies or something.

k lemme rephrase the question...

i'd like to know wot courses are/did you guys do for computer scince majors in the first semester

mine were ::

introduction to computer programming in c (basically upto pointers and linked lists)

and

key concepts in computer science (a crazy course dealing in some crazy concepts like induction, recursion, relational algebra, languages, semantics, and list comprehension)
we haven't gone too deep into these , barely skimmed the surface according to out professor but they're tough still...

i just wanna compare with the stuff that others have

specifically Networking and Telecommunications.
I'm not looking forward to the math though.
I already know about TCP/IP and stuff like that
