Abortion: Pro-Life, Pro-Choice?

What do you think? pro-life? pro-choice?

I beleive in pro-choice, but I do not think it should be used as a form of birth control

I am pro-choice.

The only argument that pro-life advocates have is that abortion is immoral, but that's entirely subjective and hence, very weak.

Thus, I can conceive of no reason to prohibit abortion.

Cheers,

Arbiter

I remember this discussion in the Chill Out Room, and from memory virtually everyone was pro-choice. Perhaps a more contraversial issue would be under which circumstances abortion should be permitted.

For instance, I advocate all abortions pre 18-22 weeks, almost ************ of motivation or reasoning: anyone agree/disagree with that?

i am pro-choice, although activists usually confuse pro-choice with "pro-abortion".... this doesn't mean i'm "for" abortions.... it just means i believe it is the woman's right to decide. Usually under good circumstances i would agree.

I'm definatly pro choice, most people are too. The real question is at what point in the pregnancy does the fetus become a person and abortion become wrong?

Pro choice. Its a very old a dieing debate. Dieing because more and more people are moving towards pro choice as society evolves away from hard line conservative ideals.

When the fetus turns 18.

Or at least that's the impression you'd get from the American legal code.

Seriously, though, I don't think you have to choose a point in the pregnancy to draw the line at. The motivation to have it done as early as possible is the increased risk to the mother involved in late-term abortions - no additional legal motivation is necessary.

Pro Choice, simply cos what about rapes, how could you expect a woman to bring a child from sum1 who maybe tried to kill her & had no respect for her wishes into the world, I wouldn't want that on anyone and I think the choices are always good, its a free world after all
