MOS Adelaide - The Review
What a night! Where do I start? Well, mr_stamper and I met up at my place at around 9, went up the street, got a few UDLs then at around 11pm headed off to Heaven. Stopped by at a servo to pick up a couple of lighter so we could continue the TA ligaya/tenshi tradition
When we got there, the main club was at 3/4 capacity and the locals were playing your popular songs like Modjo - Lady, Starchaser - Jambe myth (vocal mix) etc. Got a few drinks, then went out to check out the other venues. There was a small car park arena, which had heaps of tables and chairs, so mainly served as a chillout area. And then there was the warehouse, a quite large, 2000 person capacity discontinued building, where DJ Josh (this dyke) was playing choons such as Moby - Go (Trance Allstars mix) - you get the picture.
Got sick of listening to hard house, so we went a chilled for a while, listening to this breakbeats DJ. After his set, said hi and told him how we loved BT - Never gonna come back down (Hybrid echoplex mix) and Hybrid - Unfinished symphony. You should have seen how happy he was to know that people knew what songs he was playing
Went inside and the first song that was being played was our favourite Scooter - The logical song, so we ran (literally) with our ears closed for the doors. However Jules spotted the bassline of Delerium - Silence (DJ Tiesto ISOS) mix and so we ran back inside. However, next song mixed in was Lasgo - Something, so we once again ran outside
Chilled for a while, then took a couple of red bulls so we could be pumped for Corsten. Moved to the front of the arena at around 10 to three (Mark Dynamix was playing his typically crappy hard house). Met a couple of mad Ferry fans who were wearing System F T-shirts. Then at 5 past 3 the big men entered the arena to great appreciation from myself and Jules.

Afterward, talked for around 10minutes with him. Asked him whether he played any new productions tonight and he said no - liar! There were a couple of songs that had his name written all over it!
Moment of the night was 10 minutes into the set when I passed up this piece of paper for him to sign. Left it on the DJ booth while he was DJing and then he read it looked up and the look in his face was just priceless Gotta be the fasted piece of paper he's ever signed. He also pointed at Jules' T-Shirt at gave him a huge smile, so that was a nice personal touch too. We also got our records signed and T-shirts (mine was the TA one and Jules made a tsunami one with Corsten's aliases on the back).
And as far as new Corsten productions go, the only thing he would tell us is that there's a new album coming out and it was 4x4 - Indigo on it. And yes, he said there is a possibility of a World Tour Adelaide Lips were sealed. Pity we couldn't talk longer, but he had to run.
Overall, fantastic night. 5.5 Stars. What more could you expect from the best DJ and producer there is?
Oh, here's that piece of paper I got him to sign.
