Why does PvD jack up the BPM so much?

Oh my god, someone better stop him from turning some of his tracks into happy hardcore because they sound chipmunkey.

Example:

Marco V - I Feel You (PvD Remix) (Ripped from live set)

WTF? That surely sounds much better pitched down... lol.

Regards

uhhh..right. You want non energetic slower stuff, go somewhere else. One of PvD's trademarks is his high energy, fast paced, in your face sets. Not to mention his ability to build his set up so masterfully, the fast pace and higher BPM counts add to the glory that is PvD live.

i guess it is just a matter of preference, depending on the music you like, you will find energy in fast bpm or slower bpm

if were to go live, i would def pitch it up if i was playing uplifting or hard stuff, but for progressive, definitly slower

Cos he's german. And when you're a dj from Germany, you're used to the fact that you gotta play everything on +6 to +8,or else the crowd won't like it.
