OK, it's all of 2.5 hours after the Armin show at Spundae in Chicago, and I'm just now getting home... it was an AWESOME time down there seeing my friend Dave open up the night and then having Armin thrown down a fantastic set.

Great tracklist maytaggy. I think though, that you are wrong about when he played Strange World (Chris, back me up, even though you aren't a trainspotter?). I think he played it betwen 3 and 4 am.

BTW I have the latest ASOT show on my ftp if you want it. Armin's set is a lot like his set at Spundaes. He plays the really happy song I was mentioning to you, Tom.

bobby u missed out man! you could've asked maytag to sneak you into the dj booth to meet armin! but yeah... avb was so much better than tiesto imo! i guess i'm more of a trance guy than a techno/trance guy

It's not a track I really dig, that's probably why...

I was out pretty late the night before, so I didn't get a chance to do laundry so I could wear that yellow shirt. I was wearing a black shirt, untucked, hanging out in the booth by Skipp (the laser guy.) I was in the VIP lounge for a while too (first time I'd been up there!)

LOL! You missed out dude... the look on Armin's face was classic when I got to meet him. I handed him a napkin that said "DJMaytag from #Armind" and a demo CD of mine. He looked puzzled at first cuz a bunch of ppl were handing him napkins with track requests, but the the light came on and he looked surprised and was like "Oh, hey! How are you!" and then he asked if the CD was for him and I told him to listen to it sometime and let me know what he thought about it.

AnywaY, i KNOW it was not the Lemno8 remix of Strange World, and it was not the Yahel or Harry Peat remixes of Blind Visions either. (I've got that 12" with both of those remixes.) It was whatever is on the other disc, with the Long Laguage label facing up. I didn't know the name of the remix of AOL, so... but it was a definitely CDR he played.
