Flip n Fill?
I'm kinda new here, but trying not to make a prat out myself I just wondered what kind of genre Flip 'n' Fill are in? The music from TA is amazing and I think Flip 'n' Fill are too?
What do you guys think?
(please don't be too harsh!)

Don't be too harsh on the kid...
Actually if you like flip and fill (melodic) you may like some of the tracks in my signature.

People will tell you it's Dance, but to refrain from avoiding definition, simply -
Flip n' Fill make Trance on it's more commercial side...
Well I believe they class themselves as Happy Hardcore.
Personally I HATE them. They totally ripped off Shooting Star from Bang and changed the strong powerful voice to some really, really weak and limp one. The True Love Never Dies was also a ripoff as is the new Whitney Houston cover. They should try to write someting themselves...
I think Bang! are an amazing group who could easily have crossed into mainstream. Shooting Star, Break of Dawn, and Cloudy Daze, despite being Happy Hardcore tracks have amazing lyrics. The Flip n ' Fill cover is appallingly bad in comparison...
Besides, I was going to release a trance version of Shooting Star and make millions...Mental note to re-do break of Dawn....

I heard a flip & fill song and I thought the synthwork sucked...
If you want good vocal stuff get the new Rimini Project album called Heartbeats... Edvika is also nice, as is stuff by Fiori. DJ Sammy is also good if you like poptrance...
If you want good real trance recently released check out Solarstone, new Astral Projection, Cyber Cartel, Astrix...

yeah, the vocals on that tune are terrible. I was expecting a more nice friendly romantic vocal sound like DJ Sammy / Fiori, but that voice just grates on my ears, terrible.

I'm sure it's not too late for me to be converted to the 'promised land' and I'm going to try and get hold of some of the suggested songs.
So it's a trip to HMV for me on Monday, if you can get hold of this stuff there? I'm sure you can.
Cheers guys!
