ok say for example i wanted to rip magik 6... is there a program that will let me rip it as one file instead of 15 individual files? or do i have to put the individual files into soundforge and then save as one file?

Yep. Try using Extract Audio Copy at http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/. I believe that does what your after.
