or
Combat Flight Sim 3

well on a personal note, i'm not a huge fan of flight sims so i'd be pretty biased.

however, battlefield 1942 does offer some nice unique twists to online multiplayer 3d shooters. it really provokes teamplay and has some unique situations not found in other games.

e.g. flying an aircraft in a 3D shooter, 2 man (human operated) tanks, etc.

it's like a combo between team fortress and cs (sorta). a great game that kept me hooked for hours upon hours.

so there's my BIASED point of view... go with 1942

yeah bf1942 is pretty damn fun...specially on lan with a full server ...the new 1.2 is out which is supposed to make tanks harder to kill with grenades and some ai bugs are fixed as well

i hear cfs3 is pretty neat too, i want to try it sometime...il-2 is another one worth checking out but quite older now, i think il-2 is prolly one of the best yet, but i'm lead to believe cfs3 gives it a good run
