I'll try to be as honest as possible. I think the melody was slightly cheesy. And very simple. It could also need some more percussion. I would also change that sound that jumps in at 4:46 and acts like the main melody some places in the tune. I liked the quality of it though. It is the choice of sounds I would reconsider. Perhaps you should listen some more to artist in the similar style to that you want to do and get some pinpoints of how to do it. Hope I could help

Nic ework, I believe the peaks could use some more string power... Maybe a bit more complexness on the hihats
It's pretty good so far. I like the melodys you use. But I guess I don't like the trasitions. But otherwise it's really good. I would like to hear more of your stuff.

Dude I must say your mix is very clean and powerful. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to hear your take on reverb, EQ, effects, mixing, etc because DAMN thats some very PRO sounding.... sounds.
Melody/etc - good also. I just think me personally would have used a harder synthy/echoey sound for the leads. But then again I don't even have anything like that and would have resorted to a saw tooth or triangle.
