On an average month how much money do you Dj's spend on your music per month? And also where do you get the money to spend on it
ie. dj gigs, part jobs...so on and so on?

I spend about $60 a month on music. Sometimes more. I'm 24 and am employed as an organic chemist. I make a good living and can afford to blow that much and more on music. I just bought a TTX1 with a Shure whitelabel cart and new HDJ-1000 headphones--for this month

I spend hella cash on vinyl every month. I've baught around 600 records since Febuary of this year. Actually,,, my girlfriend baught them for me as well as me tables/mixer/headphones/ect. So that's how I get the money for everything,,, and yes I know how lucky I am. I can totally appreciate how hard it is for people who work regular jobs or have to school and cope with all of the expenses DJ brings. I'm just going to ride this one out for as long as I can ;-)

as for me.. if i calculate how much it cost me per vinyl including taxes... near 15,50$can/record
wanna see how rich you would have been if it wasn'T for those records ?
15,50$ * quantity of record you have = shit load of wasted money
or is it a waste ? I personnally think not...

I spend about 80-100 bucks on vinyl, but try and stick to used reks so I can get more bang for my buck. I get the money by working at the local library; 13$/hour and I'm only 17

And since I just got a replacement stylus for my m447's, I have only records to spend it on, aside from putting half away for future/post-secondary stuff.
