Idea Recommendations on first CD Deck?

Hello all! I'm think of saving up money to buy myself a pair of dj cd decks. So far i've been limited to using traktor, and although it is a great piece of software, the timing on two different soundcards are always off so my beatmatching is always off. I'm only 16yrs old so I can't afford a pair of Pioneer CDJ100+. Can anyone recommend me a good pair of decks, either single or twin deck, that isn't too expensive? also what is a good mixer to start off with? (sorry if this was already posted 1000 times before)

Thanks in advance,
Kevin Bennell

Gemini CD players are pretty good value for money I think..

That is, from CDJ-20 and up...

I would definitely go for two single CD decks.. they mostly have bigger jog wheels, which is easier to handle.

I must note that I don't have hands-on experience with these things, as I only have two TT's

well, if you wanna go for a double CD Deck, I recommend you the Gemini CD-240..... it's a simple one, with basic features. very accurate, and very durable... I got one and I'm very satisfied......
it's cheap as well cause it's a Gemini... ir definately reprisents value for money......

if you want 2 singles, I recommend you 2 options (exept the Pioneer CDJ series):

1. Gemini CDJ-20 (like the pioneer CDJ-100, but with no effects, and top load instead of front slot load)

2. Numark Axis 2 (a good CD player that gained reputation lately, like the Numark Matrix 3 mixer)

those 2 are good value for money, and they're both great.......
need links to see the features?
www.numark.com
www.geminidj.com
help yourself

hope I helped.....
