think u might wanna move this to the amateur dj/producer forum...
but since i'm at it, i'll post some comments. (btw, the matrix intro that DJ Arsalan was referring to was your first song, if u haven't seen the movie, u definitely should!)
on transitions, your beatmatching is pretty spot on, i'm not listening from my monitors straight on so i can't hear any phasing, but at least there ain't too much of a beat drift or anything.
wut bpm/pitch are you at? my internal meter might be a lil' off cuz i just woke up, but it seems u are going a teeny bit slow for hard house stuff.
on mixing, i would suggest bringing in the track you are mixing into a lil' early, as some transitions seem to die off in energy when it's just left with the main intro beats. i like giving the crowd more then just beats to hang on to, y'kno wut i mean? doing itonce or twice is fine, but not too often.
(the 13th minute mark has some sick breakbeats. did u add to that?)
some last notes, i like making hard cuts when mixing hard house, throwing in sections from other tracks to "tease" the crowd, playing more with eqs and bass drops, it's much more fun. sometimes hard house is too straight on, so mix it up a lil'.
hope this helped. =)

yea.. the beatmatching was decent on that set.. i was actually working the pitch in the transitions on most the set too.. im getting better at that.
agreed on the lack of energy in some of the transitions.. i know exactly what you are saying, and cringed as I made those... and yea, you are right.. bring the track in earlier.
most those transitions were made halfway into the track, the usual center breakdown of the vinyl... and into the next track.. so i was late a bit here and there, mainly because i was trying to mix faster than i should have. definitly a good point
I dont have a BPM counter.. now idea.. i guess i could check in atomixmp3 and get the BPM from the MP3.. however, most these tracks were actually played well into the plus ranges, like plus 6.
It's not really hardhouse... most these tracks are considered HardDance... which is basically slower hardhouse blended with trancey elements.. a few of them being considered NUNRG... I dont play alot of hardhouse.. most HH is about 10bpm faster than these tracks, and certainly more agressive. i think most these records are about 140-144bpm at zeroed pitch.
the breaks at the 13min mark are from fallen angel & titchy bitch's track "ghetto pimp".. they are mad phat, huh? the second rift of breaks in that track i started playing with.. i matched 4/4 beats of the next track against the breakbeats of ghetto pimp, and started cutting back and forth between the basslines using the EQ's - breaks, 44, breaks, 44, breaks again, back to 44, breakdown, cut. that was fun
thanks for the input
