hey its cool to get some slipmats with cool logos on them but how much time will you spend looking at them?? I just picked up these slipmats called "Butter Rugs" and these things rock!! If you want thin, i don't think you can get any thinner, as thin as paper. You can put a brick on this mat and the platter will keep turning. But i guess you can buy yourself a pair of mats with a cool logo on them so your tables look better when not in use.

hehe, you can always tell a poser by his slipmats ... =)

Just get a pair that slip good ... I have plain black mats so I don't have to worry about the artwork rubbing off or messing up my vinyl.

Nycz ... it's all in good fun, you shouldn't take my little stabs seriously.

But yeah, check your local record stores, or htfr.co.uk ... they have a wide selection of poser slipmats =)

Most of the time I just make my own. Just go to a fabric store and buy a piece of felt in the color of your choice, slap a 12" on it, trace around & cut. Presto!

anybody got a site that sells them online???

well, you can always stick them to your wall i guess
it's the best decoration you could imagine

btw, anybody got a cool idea for decorating your wall with cd's?
I got 9 cd's on my wall, quake III arena style. (yeah, i'm a gamer too)

i think you can buy slipmats at www.large.nl since they also sell vinyl, it's a great store for people in the netherlands and belgium.

Drunk Club slipmats

I have a pair of Gatecrasher slipmats but they do not work that well so I would recommend just buying standard ones for function. You can buy the GC ones from their website at www.gatecrasher.co.uk. Also the Ministry of Sound slipmats are available at their website (www.ministryofsound.co.uk) and Cream has cool blue slipmats on their website (www.cream.co.uk). I love the way the GC ones look, I just wish they weren't so sticky!

Hey Dawn
I was actually trying to come up with a good idea to decorate my walls with cd's. Ive got about a couple hundred used cd-r's just sitting in a bag. I dont know if your idea will work with what I have, but I'd love to hear it.

well... one tip: i used those poster strips from Pritt and this leaves your wallpaper unharmed...

let me know what ya made of it, i'd love to see!

the easiest thing you could do is re-create a logo or something... but I wouldn't use all of them just like 10 or 20.

If I had a laser, and aimed it towards the cd's on the wall, would it reflect?

maybe it's time for a main thread: How do Trance Addicts decorate their bed and DJ room?
