Who else has this problem....

after you listened to your recording, the incoming track seemed to interrupt (come in far too loudly), eventhough when you were hearing it live, it sounded pretty okay. I'm using the DJM-300s

How do you correct this problem? How would you get it perfect like the pro djs?

With my gemini 626i I usually spin with my faders at 8,so the master isnt very high.

For the recordsignal thats way to loud,so when U record u must put ur faders around 2 or 3 and ur master wide open so u can still hear it

Try it,it worked for me

I've got the DJM-600, and so you should be able to tackle this problem just like I did. I use the third selector (very right) on the crossfader curve selector. This way the tracks don't come in so loud. Also, I have found that this works equally well whether you are mixing with the crossfader or the channel sliders, though I personally mix with the channel sliders

Anyone know what kind of curve the DJM-300 has?

I can't understand your problem, if you have your mixer set up correctly, you will not have any problems. Do you use your Low, Mid and Hi's to bring it in?

I apologize, I thought that you had the DJM-3000, not 300. I would think that if you email pioneer (www.pioneerprodj.com) they would be able to tell you what type of curve you have on that mixer.

I not sure how you can correct this other than moving the incoming track in slower than you have been. People like me with a DJM-600 luckly don't have to worry about this because we have a isolated recording output that is completely seperate from the master volume control.
