In our relentless effort to bring you the DJs and producers who are on the cutting edge of progressive music it is our great pleasure to launch the city headlong into 2001 with a night that features two of the world's best.
First, John Graham aka Quivver is one of the globe's elite producers having cemented his position with massive tracks such as "Saxy Lady" and his most recent releases "She Does" in addition to some brilliant remix work on tracks such as "Sacred Cycles", "Calling Your Name" and "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?" among others.
In addition to his solid solo efforts in the studio, he is also one third of Tilt along with Parks & Wilson and under that name, responsible for even more incredible production work. His recent collaboration piece with Sasha is highly anticipated and we can only jones at the chance that he'll drop it into his set at Breathe.
Second, the true 'headz' will recognize the name Medway for his stellar work on the Hooj Choons label where his first three E.P.'s have all gone supernova thanks to an incredible amount of support from the biggest DJs on earth. "Resurrection", "Elements" and "Fat Bastard" are all first-rate releases and it's rather impressive that he has displayed such an incredible level of consistency for a new artist.
With both of these artists you can expect phenomenal sets built around a large amount of advance promo vinyl, bootlegs and their own new studio work on burned to CD-R.
This night will set the standard for progressive music in Toronto in 2001.
