Help With My Djm 500!!

hello ta members. i have a djm-500 and i have so many problems with it.
1)my channel 4 is messed up/ is wont come on @ all.. but that isnt my biggest problem!!
2)THe biggest problem i have is that my channel 3 low frequency is messed up. that means my bass is fucked up!!!
3)I went to an Authorized Pioneer Repair Shop and they wanted $300 just for labor. FUCK THAT!!

So i need all your help to help me get this fixed!! Does anyone know what i can do to get this fixed?? I live in NJ but live 5 minutes away from NY. PLEASE HELP ME!!

first, make sure it's not something wrong YOU'RE doing...are your cables of good quality? are they plugged in right? are your speakers working fine? there could be any number of problems with your setup; go through each stage and find out if it really is just the mixer that's bad.

if it is the mixer...is there a warranty on it? if you got it shipped to you, write the people who shipped it to you. if you bought it off someone, go kick his ass for selling you shoddy equipment. if it's none of the above, you're best bet is to take it to an authorized store. the store you went to might be overcharging, so ask around.

don't even think about taking it apart and fixing it yourself tho...you're pretty much dead if you try that.

yeah, you never explained like how long have you had the mixer or did you just buy it new or used. Check all those connections too and get back to us. I have a DJM-600 I know a lot about these mixers.

everythings hooked up correctly. i bought it off ebay and there wasnt a problem with my 3channel low frequency."bass". i dont know it just seems like theres a screw loose.. the thing is when i move the knob to the center it doesnt click. do u know what i mean?? everything else clicks but this one knob doesnt.

sound like something got loosed or damaged, you now have 2 options:
1) Warranty
2) Repair

Oh my gosh DJM-600 is sooooooo much better than DJM-500, I was gonna get DJM-600 but i was like "fuck that, i dont got $1200 to spend" so I ended up getting DJM-500 but now I know why DJM-600 cost $1200...... Anyone with DJM-600 wanna trade???? lol
