Mp3.com is going to screw everyone

Just another fact about how stupid people are over there in America (not everyone, but a big 'puleaaase' on this one) :

http://help.mp3.com/help/article/changes.html

I'm going off mp3.com after Jan 15th, I've had about enough of this changes-here-and-there crap now. I'm off to Iuma.com, about the only online artist service that does respect the artist (so I see it).

Take care,
Wim

Iuma.com

IS NOT!
There for the artist, its full of ridicously crappy bands at top, having gotten fruity rippin a known pop song and making beats self, while having untuned basses and whole lotta crap.

However, they are SORTA reliable on the downloading thing, i use it as upload place nothing else, its ridicoules how everyone(even un-plugged rock bands) place themselves in electronic for more plays.

And everything seems to be at a very amateurish and childish level over there, i use it only to post here and on other boards.

So in that sense its reliable, quick registering and quick upload.

Cheers,

mp3.com is stupid.

first they go and change the p4p, and make it 1/2 cent per song listen. that was ridiculous, instead of making $40 a month on the premium artist service, I started loosing money.

second, they ruin the appearence. the site looks like junk now, and those rollover menus are extremely annoying.

and now, they go and do this. i've had it with them.

I'm switching over to New Music Canada

I've known mp3.com from before they even initiated PAS... those were the days nevertheless it was mp3.com. I even made loads of money because I didn't have to pay for anything (yet).
I've started to have my questions towards their respect of customers ever since PAS came... Pay us to get paid is not a very smart way of doing business in any way really

So probably best thing to do is to ship in on a huge amount of CD's with my current artist cash Thing is I still have to pay yaxes because it's an overseas package, kind of silly little thing
For my own CD's I don't have to pay taxes though... Must be because it's at discount or so?

I'm afraid mp3.com just engraved their name on their own coffin now... Lots of other sites will become more popular than them if they are really going to get through with this...
