I've been listening to techno and trance for years now, but i only know the terms 'trance' and 'techno' and here on these forums I read al these different styles. So can someone please explain me the differences between progressive, uplifting trance.... (and give some examples maybe )
For exemple where do these songs belong?
Paul Oakenfold - this is trance
Ziax - Subconsciousness
Astral Projection - Mahaveda
Astral Projection - Virtual Booster
Astral Projection - aurora Borealis
System f - Elevate
Earthbound - One nation trance nation
Paul Oakenfold - Gamemaster
Kai Tracid - Trance and acid

Before someone gives you a really harsh answer, use the searchfunction
dude and search for terms like "genre AND trance", "genre AND map"
and so on, you will get lots and lots of threads to go thru, more
answers and more facts then you will ever get in this thread.
I know one thread that lead me to a site (lost the url) which
contained a map made in flash with soundsamples of a total of 100
subgenres of different electronic musicstyles, use the searchfunction and you will find it.
