i think i read in this one of the little booklets that came with a MoS cd... a couple of years ago Paul Oakenfold made it into the Guiness Book of Records for the highest paid dj.. earning 250,000 pounds in 1999 or 2000.. not sure

either way, DJ's are paid a fair amount of money!!!

ya, i don't know any figures, but i remember when the 1999-2000 millenium parties were on...they were earning f***n s**** loads of molla!!! so much, they were doing two or more nye parties by flying between timezones on the one night!!
i think something like several g an hour!!!
but yeah, yearly income i'm not sure...i guess like hollywood actors, do a couple a big gigs and rake it in then sit back and cruise for a while

Damn, thats an obscene amount of money... Some of the DJs deserve how much they make, and some deserve more... Maybe even some deserve less... Unfair, but thats just the way life is, I suppose...

Any good DJ should say they do it more for the music than money, but money is just a very nice added bonus

but dont forget that these DJ wont get the whole money!!!

they havta pay much taxes and so on!!!

i dont know but i´d say 2/3 they earn!!!
