recording with reason 1....

Some-one please gimme a answer before a mod closes this for being in the wrong forum, i post here because i will get answers quicker !

I need to know how to record in reason 1, i play the tune through the speaker but cant get the record function to work. I press record but it doesnt record to the channel below....

Please help !
