Does it exist? Having the ability to read a thousand word per minute. Any TAs here can read that fast?

Shed some light please

I can pull about 500 wpm if I'm really focused. To do any better than that you have to retrain yourself not to mentally sound out the words as you read them, which most humans have a strong tendency to do. It's definitely real, but it is a pain to learn, which is why I haven't bothered as of yet.

ive seen it advertised..by this porky looking fellow on the Kevin Trudeau show a few years back.
