It gets tiring to see 5 topics dealing the same topic... The Palestine thing was bad enough, I prefer seeing only one thread with new posts than 5 with the same replies.

If someone would post a "Post your top 20 recent tunes" thread on the Music Discussion, then in a few hours 4 more people will each post a "My top 20 recent tunes" thread, the mods will ask them to just reply in the existing threads.

Well since the US is involved in most of the world politics, and appears on most forums, it is logical that it will be opposed by someone on that forum. There are many reasons for bashing the US, not just one, and therefore they shouldn't be put on a single thread.

Well, as to what you are mentioning, it wont happen, hence the fact that the topics are either related to the world affairs and or problems either outside or in the USA. Sadly, Bush's presidency and America are pretty much involved in everything, and they will either receive flowers or eggs thrown at. Regardless the post, BUSH, will be flamed. We are talking in a community where the majority is European, a continent that currently 80% of the people disagrees with Bush's politics

Let him be flamed, just try not to open a new Bush flaming thread when the subject is already discussed.

Unlike this forum, the Music Discussion has plenty of different sub-topics inside the music to discuss.
I guess the one reason to justify multi-Bush topics is that this forum will probably be left postless except a few threads.

See, the Palestine issue got discussed in 4 or so different topics in about a week and now no one writes about it... I fear that's what will keep on happening with each subject. I would've preffered having 1 or 2 threads per large subject constantly being discussed and updated.
