If you're a DJ and you follow this strategy you're going to be waiting awhile before you get some new tunes for your record case. When people go to see a DJ they're looking for primarily new stuff, and if all you do is wait around for the "perfect song" instead of getting the mediocre stuff that moves the crowd then u're not going to make it very far as a DJ IMO.
Look at Tiesto from around summertime 2002, he was playing mostly the same stuff set after set and almost in the same order and people got bored with him. |
If people start valorizing only the good things that is comming, good music will come more frequently. We can't close our eyes and stay fancing that all the shit is emerging from the hell is good and keep buying it just because we need new stuff ! New and good stuff will come since we become more demanding than now. Ok ?
