Armin double-booked for Two Tribes?
Maybe I'm being paranoid, but maybe not. Here's the Godskitchen Newcastle flyer from www.godskitchen.co.uk:
And here's the TT Gold Coast flyer:
Anyone see a problem? I've posted about this on thescene.com.au, and the Future boss assured me that Armin will be in Australia, but the GK Newcastle flyer's been up for 2 weeks without a change. Just makes me somewhat nervous...
I've e-mailed AvB's management firm at the address supplied on his website, so we shall see.

Armin's website says...
08-03-2003 Two Tribes, Goldcoast, Australia Settime TBC
08-03-2003 Two Tribes, Adelaide, Australia Settime TBC
As far as I'm aware, TTs Adelaide has been cancelled but I'm still praying for an Adelaide/Melbourne Armin double.

this is not surprizing. Many DJ's have double bookings. One that comes to mind is John Digweed, he was booked for Welcome 2000 on the same morning as he was to appear in some rave in New Zealand. reason i know this is cause i atteded welcome, and a freind of mine was in New Zealand and was at this other rave.
Funny story actaully, apparently digweed was whipped over there by plane and then chopper to the venue, he was really late, like started playing 3 hours after he was assigned. But as my mate said, "it didn't matter cause he was fucking awesome and the crowd went nuts"
heh heh, so basically don't worry guys! you will get to see armin!

I wouldnt get your hopes up - TT has been a constant set of disappoints since it was announced.
And IMO Armin would give preference to his UK gig simply because they'd be paying him more (or at least i would think)

isnt melbourne on the 9th?
is it possible for him to play in england on the 8th and then be here for the 9th?
isnt WA's two tribes a week before? hence him already being in the country?
i think your all worrying for nothing and should pay an old visit to mr commonsense.

yeah, i know. i'm worrying over nothing. Future usually deliver, and MJ was emphatic in his confirmation that Armin would be at Two Tribes.
Crasher Kid -- how has TT been a series of disappointments? Especially for Sydney? Tiesto only cancelled on Melbourne, and he'll be back later this year
If it comes down to money, I doubt the UK gig is worth more than the entire Aus/NZ tour. Plus Armin just absolutely adored coming down here last year. I've never seen a DJ have so much fun behind the decks.
