Phil Green - The Trance EP [Difuse]

Although highly unimaginative with his titles, Phil Green has come up with a couple of decent tracks on this solo effort.

A: Tribal Trance
The only thing tribal about this tune is the bongo sample used.
Otherwise a pretty decent trancer that pumps along with a decent uplifting synth with a bit of an epic feel to it. 7/10

B Solaris
The better of the two IMO. More of a pumping bass kick this time & with less uplifting & more driving rolling synths.
More peak time material, but quite a short track. Elements start stripping away after the first main buildup just when you want more.
Nothing new but a good contribution.
7.5 to 8 /10.

Tribal Trance is great,
Its sounds like a Fusion of Rank 1 'Airwave' and Hydra 'Affinity'
But those bongos really make the tune stand out,
should be landing on my doorstep soon!
