JD-800 Vs JP-80X0

Hey!

I'm thinking of buying a synth.
I found a JP-8000 and a JD-800 but I'm not sure which one to buy. They both cost around 550$ each.

Any suggestions?

I can't help you decide between the two, but you might want to check out http://www.harmony-central.com (if you haven't already) and read reviews there.

If you are looking for other synths in that range, you might check out the Access Virus A, Korg MS2000, Roland Juno 106, Roland JX-8P w/ PG-800, and I'm sure others can recommend more.

The JP-8000 is an excellent synth. Lots and lots of trance producers out there use it, and what I've heard from it is amazing
Personally I only get negative thoughts when hearing about it though. The thing is, I got completely assfucked on ebay because of one. I actually paid over $750, and it never arrived. Still pisses me off beyond belief to this day

Peace

I didn't get anything back, and there were actually two uf us that got scammed. We reported it to the fbi site for internet fraud, but I haven't heard anything from them yet. I guess they're my last hope

I think ebay can be an ok place to do buisiness as long as you take extreme precautions, something I guess I didn't.

Peace

Stick with Fruityloops! You've gotten this far with it already.

Heh...Yeah but I'm soooo sick and tired of working with softsynths.
I hate em!! lol!
I want a real synth. And I think it will boost my creativity.
But I'm still gonna work with Fruity!
Hopefully the new Fruity program will suport Audio Recording.

ThX for the replys guys! I'm gettin a JP!
