Does anyone here watch kungfu movies or foreign cinema?

Hey i was wondering what type of movies us ta's are into, i'm mainly into old-school kungfu flicks from the 70's and early 80's and hong kong cinema in general. Also the Samurai flix from Japan.
My favorite movies are:
Fist of legend
Drunken Master 1,2
Police Story
Kagemusha
Kid with the golden arm
Five Deadly Venoms
Triple Irons
Masked Avengers
Lone Wolf and Cub films
Running out of time
there are many more...

Anyone else here share an interest???

Fist of Legend must be one of my favourite kung-fu movies of all-time.
I also like the Fong Sai Yuk movies, Once Upon a Time in China 1 and 2, High Risk, and many more Jet Li movies.

I definetly agree on this with all ya guys/gals, the Once upon a time in china series where great. My favorites were the first two out of the six. Jet li is the da bomb, but Bruce Lee owns!!!! Yeah how could we forget about [QUOTE]YOU FORGOT

Yes very true torontotrance, my favorite bruce lee flick would have to be a tie between Fist of Fury aka. (chinese connection) and Way of the dragon aka. Return of the dragon. Cheers.

Bruce Lee's movies are great for his time, but I'm not a big fan of older films, because the acting and cinematography isn't as great.

If you liked Fist of Fury aka Chinese Connection, I highly recommend u see Fist of Legend. Jet Li's updated take on the legend about the real life Jing Wu Kung Fu school.

Yeah i loved fist of legend and i agree about the cinematography and choreography of the older films being kinda outdated. Have you seen "Legend of a Fighter"a.k.a. "Secret Master" starring Liang Jia Ren(aka. Leung Kar Yun) thats another great epic movie about the Jing Wu school but is more about the founder Huo Yuen Chia, and you can't go wrong with the Yuen Woo Ping fight choreography and directing

My parents only watch foreign movies, for the most part...I watched some fun movies in Spanish (from various countries) in classes while I was still taking it, and there was this really cool strange danish I think movie that started out with a very loud sex scene with peoplew who just got married, only the guy was totally uninterested and the girl wasn't even noticing... it had the woman who is the girlfriend in High Fidelity in it...you know which one I mean, I wish I could remember what it was called....
Women on the verge of a nervous breakdown was funny too...
