An idea has been on my mind for the past year that is just about to take full effect if I can get enough people involved. The idea is to create a largely based electronic music E-zine (Internet Magazine) for every single genre in electronic music culture. The genres I’m looking at including on the website are:

Acid Jazz
Ambient
Breakbeat
Downtempo
Drum n’ Bass
Garage
Hardcore
Hi-NRG
House
IDM/Experimental
Industrial
Progressive
Techno
and Trance

What I need is writers to cover gossip and latest happenings occurring within each of these genres. So, as you can see, I am looking for several writers who are interested in taking part in this opportunity.
I will need possibly 1-3 writers per genre of music to write about hot, new upcoming releases in the genre or just plain gossip.
I am also going to want to include other sections of the site that will expand the interest besides scene info. Sections such as:

DJ/Producers Corner

This section will of course give tips on Djing and producing, which is what many fans of electronica are into.

And of course a big portion of what I’m wanting to do is create a large community where electronic music fans can co-exist with forum areas and a chat room for more live interaction. The forums will need to be closely moderated of course because obviously there is going to be a lot of flaming and negative remarks flying about from genres that don’t like each other. But with effort, we can prevent excessive flaming. ;-)
