the system f album is cheese, major cheederage here. When I got it I gave it a listen 3 times through just to make sure I wasnt wrong because I have always loved system f stuff in the past, but this cd just sounded like it was thrown together using ferry's old samples from '98-99. If this cd had come out back then it would have been trendsetting, but now it just sounds dated and the 3 minute versions of every track is lame as well. MOst of the songs are quite poor with overused synths. I had a lot of hope for this cd, but I guess I was let down. I know when his "Ferry Corsten" album comes out that that will vindicate him so I'm not worrying yet.

I give it a 4/10

I just listened to it and here's what I think. If ferry made the CD like Sasha made Airdrawndagger, and mixed these songs all together, it would have made it 10 times better. If the songs were made full length with build ups and closings, the no mixing thing would have worked out just fine. Instead you get a shorter than radio rip version of a bunch of new tunes. The songs Ignition Sequence Start, Reaching Your Soul, Deja-Vu, Solarize, Underwater & Devotion all have great potential. Shit, this just doesn't flow at all; starts off with some hard synth track and in the middle he throws in some Ambient song, then another hard track. Who the hell put this thing together?

He should have named it Together with a ? after it.

yeah.. it's huge cheese... he's definately gotta find a new sound but I guess he's doing that with his Ferry Corsten project...
I guess this album was just a way of milking money out of the Japanese market.. they do love Sustem F over there...

not for nothing but alot of asian/japanese music thrives on that cheesy popish melody stuff and its a big boom over there so he's doin justice for that market...and remember he is only rlsing it to them if it was a world wide rls then id lose respekt the furry dude!
