HELP = quick question

how do i find out the ip of my router..the router is in the other room with another computer..how do i find its ip thorugh this comp?

Not sure how you do that. You might have to check its manual. Usually it is 192.168.1.1 although that might differ depending on the router.

Try running a Traceroute to find out the router's IP. It should be the first real IP after the first 192 address hop.

its Start>Run>type in "tracert google.com" (or any other working address... doesnt matter) to check it..

yea actualy i was trying to get the original cable modem ip..but i dont know if i really need it..im trying to configure shoutcast cause im on a network
