Judge Jules @ Arc Review
You know what? I walked into that club expecting nothing and I was quite pleasantly surprised. There was a lot of energy and happy people in the club and it seemed like everyone was dancing. The arcade wasn't open so we were all together on the floor. Jules played some great classics that I never thought I would hear again in a club (BT-June) and he dropped some new choons, too. Of course, my highlight was LONELINESS!! (Special thanks to the guy who lent me his cell so I could call my brother) Now, granted, I wasn't floored by jules' mixing but he did pound it out here and there and he really got the crowd into his set.
I was disappointed not to see many TAs, even though I knew you guys weren't going. However, it WAS nice to see John and Tom and I think we all had a good time. THAT GIRL IS A KEEPER, John!
Of course I don't have a tracklist, even though I was positive that I was remembering every track in sequence. Now that I am home all I can remember is Umek-Gatex and the aforementioned Loneliness. Tom, help me out here. WHOOPS! *smacks head* Underworld - Born Slippy. Love that track.
I had a fabulous time, all in all, and I am glad I went! See you guys at TALLA!
One more thing, what the HELL is the deal with the damn lights? You can't even walk around. ARGH!
