Hi, I was wondering if you all could help me since more of you have probably been to Ibiza than people from the States. I know early August is the best time to go, but my schedule this summer will only allow me to go there from the beginning to the middle of July. Has anyone been there at this time or can offer some advice if this will still be a good time to go?
Also, who is planning on going this summer and when?

Hi!
Early August is actually not the best time to go. The closing week is by far the most wicked time to visit Ibiza. That's when the clubs have their "grand finale's" and close for the season. "Closing week" is usually more than a week and takes place for about 10 days in the end of september/early october.
Ibiza is a great place no matter what. If you go there early july you should avoid Space any day but sunday. The place is packed with very young brittish hooligans.
DC10 is the best place in my opinion. It's just like Space was in the early days. On a not so very distant 2nd place is Amnesia.
Go to Sa'Trincha beach (Salinas) in daytime. Lots of great music pumping out a pretty good system by the beach. Relaxed atmosphere and lots of nude chicks .

Thanks for the advice man. Is there anything going on in Stockholm also? I may be heading up there for a few days during my travels this summer as well.

I don't know what's going on this summer around here. Stockholm's been really crappy when it comes to having good clubs and bringing over decent Dj's. The last couple of month have been promising though. Seems things are starting to happen here aswell. If you're planning on coming to Sweden in july, i'm pretty sure no parties will take place. Most people who live in and around Stockholm leave town during july to have vacation somewhere else. The city kind of dies. If u can put up with commercial music/nightclubs, Stockholm has quite a few things to offer. How old u are is a very big deal. Most good nightclubs want u to be 23 or 25.
