you need to forward a couple ports on your router for it to work.

here is what i am going to need from you to get ahead of time
- router manufacture

basically, you are going to log into your router and forward ports 8000 & 8001 (i think you really only need to forward port 8000 if you are streaming from only 1 computer) to your computer you are planning on streaming from. what this will do is let anybody who sends a request to port 8000 to be directed to the computer your are streaming from.
