Too easily impressed?
Hmm, is it just me or are some people just too easily impressed by tunes sometimes? Especially brand new tracks. Often I'll hear all this mega hype around this sick new track, then to download and find myself thinking "Um...ok, what's the big deal?"
I dunno, I'm just not too easily impressed? Anyone else get the same thing?

Music is a matter of personal taste. When one finds a track tune of the year you might not like it.
Luckily we don't all find the same music the best

well, for every track posted here, there will be a handful of people who post the same stupid shit "OMG I DIE" or whatever. it's usually the same people every time, too. it's best to tune them out because they are just playing the "me too" card and have no real taste in music. it's best to look for new material by certain artists that you know you like rather than go on somebody else's opinions.

Intresting theory.
It's all a matter of opinion. Some people like something, some don't.

hype is often responsible for selling records, doesnt alwayes mean its absolute quality.
Another contributin factory to the this is where it was heard. For instance. if the track was heard in a club the person may of been hyped already because of the atmosphere he was in making anything with a beat and simple synth/string sound good. If he heard it in an online radio set and in a chat room with other fans that could also lead into the follow the leader type atmosphere. Aside from those some people do genuinely think these tracks are good and thats fine. As mentioned before. It all comes down to personal taste. Don't got nothing nice to say don't say it.
Disclaimer: My opinions are my own, and if you can't say anything intelligent without bashing my character, my parentage, or my sexuality, then shut up and sit down. I will ignore you until you can come up with a decent rebuttal or an insightful comment. I am merely stating how I see it to be with as much respect and thought as possible. I expect the same from you. Tempest

Got the same problem, I've downloaded tons of crap just because people always go "OMG I DIE"
But of course I've also found some very nice tunes this way...

Especially if the track is by or related in any way to Paul van Dyk...
