Love trance as a deciding factor in relationships

would u ever date someone who doesn't like trance?

i've been thinking about this for awhile and i've come to conclude that it's not worth it

music should be a deciding factor in relationships as it defines who you are

arguments? yes? no?

i agree it helps to have common interest such as music..but i wouldnt base my whole decision on it.

i use the 5 point method to pick my women

niceatude - how nice she is
putupatude - how well she can deal with my shit
gymnastatude - how flexible she is
smartatude - how intelligent she is
lookatude - how easy she is on the eyes

if she passes all 5 shes a keeper!

i know ive already mentioned my thoughts to u about this but.. might as well let the whole world know too lol...

anyways, i dont think that music is a deciding factor when it comes to relationship. if a guy appreciates trance and the music i enjoy, well, thats great. but guys dont ahve to enjoy trance for me to be attracted to him. but a general sense of respect is mandatory, i guess. but whatever, if a guy scores well w/ me in other aspects other than music, id date him w/o hesitation

also i have friends who despise trance but i love them for who they ar and not what they listen to and we get along perfectly well.

music is my life so hopefully the person i date would like it, but they don't have to like it as long as they don't mind that i listen to it all the time. i almost broke up with this girl because she would always turn it down in the car or switch cds and right when i would get into it and bobbin my head and singing (if it had lyrics). that really pissed me off but she ended up learning to like it.

Mr. Mystery: have you ever dared to go out with a Backstreet Boys' fan? Believe me, music taste does matter

Anyway, the more things you have to share, the better it'll be for the relationship Even when the music wasn't involved (maybe it's a coincidence), some of the best dates I've ever had were either with trancers or junglists. Obviously, music taste is not everything. Going out with girls who don't like the same music maybe also a good experience (that's how I got into ska for 2 months, hehe).

It's not a matter of being shallow or narrow-minded, but it's just a bit of logic

i have to agree with you there maaz... music taste does matter. when someone tells me they listen to nsync i automatically judge them

my previous boss at work was this really smart guy that i respected. he built www.bestbuy.com from scratch, all the hardware incl the servers, switches, firewalls, dbases...

then when i found in his cd case "nsync" and "britney spears".. i lost all respect for him

..

likewise
i lose respect for people who tell me that they hate trance, i guess i'm judgemental like that

Call me shallow but, as I mentioned in some other thread, I can't tolerate cookie-cutter trends.
Whether it has to do with music, fashion, food or just ways of living, etc.
I could never associate with anyone who's into other likes of these kinds.(which by the way, leads me to say that I like originality in someone. I am so attracted by the way someone can be unique.)

Secondly,to me, music is extrememly important, if you don't have it down to an ART, then any relationship will come to an end. Same with fashion, for example.
Finally, it's not about being shallow, when you have standards that aren't met, how can you relate with that person when the issue is at hand?
Sorry but I can't like it any other way.
