I watched a program on this country last nite. While you americans may think that iraq is where the trouble lies I would say it's at the other side of the pacific. These people seem to have been totally brainwashed into hating westerners. They are already prepared to go to war, it's just a question of who wants to start it.

Iraq's government is the only threat to the US and not the people of Iraq, if such a threat existed. North Korea however, are being brain washed by their dictator...into believing that the western world is evil. Mr dictator tells them what they want to hear, and they believe.

I don't see how Iraqi government is a threat to US except maybe to the US forces which are bombing the no-fly zone.

by that statement, i was referring to the Iraqi ppl who would are scared shitless right now at the chance of a war. But according the US claims...the Iraqi government are the guilty ones and not the people. So why should the people suffer?
As far as hostility, if this war goes through, there will be an ill feeling towards Americans in the rest of the world(cept mebbe britain and spain). So to answer Chesco...no i dont think the iraqi ppl seem bitter towards the US before, but that that feeling will become sour as the idea of war presses forward. These ppl aren't the taliban regime, they are people that are trying to survive day to day, they have o reason to hate the US
