King Unique - Lighters / Music Please

King Unique's first release for 2003 out on Junior. Both sick tunes, my pick of the two would be Lighters - kind of a cross between Fisherspooner - Emerge (Junkie XL Mix) and Chris Cowie's Nostra (Vocal Mix). Great stuff though, kinda quirky. Music Please on the other hand has this dark undertone which really builds up in accordance to the command from the dude 'Music Please'. Good stuff all round

8/10 -- 9 for Lighters, 7 for Music Please

Neither of them are anywhere around the calibre of Sugar High. Both of these tunes sound like a 3 year old made them. Crap, pure utter crap. Whoever ripped them, just wasted 20 minutes of their life.

peace

Horrible...just horrile. Who ever called this prog in the release was wrong (no offence)...but this is horrible! Thumbs down for me.

Lighters has only got a bpm of 110 so its strictly prog. In the latest issue of DJ it says that the track was actually influenced by one of Grooverider's sets.
